How to Care for Printed Apparel: Read the Garment Label First
Keep printed clothing in good condition by following the garment's care label and using a few cautious washing and storage habits.
Follow the care instructions on the item
Care needs vary by fabric, print method and garment construction. Check the sewn-in or product-provided care label first, and follow its washing, drying and ironing instructions.
If a garment has no clear care guidance, ask the seller for instructions specific to that product rather than assuming all printed apparel can be washed the same way.
Use gentle habits when the label permits
Where compatible with the care label, turning a printed garment inside out and avoiding direct high heat on the design can reduce unnecessary surface friction. These are general precautions, not a substitute for the item's own instructions.
Separate colours as appropriate and avoid leaving damp clothes folded for long periods.
Store garments dry and clean
Make sure clothing is fully dry before putting it away. Store it in a clean, dry space and avoid placing heavy objects on raised or textured artwork.
