Measure a T-shirt that fits you

Lay a T-shirt you like flat and measure the dimensions shown in the product size chart, such as chest width and body length. Compare like with like: a garment measurement is not the same as a body measurement.

Check whether the chart lists garment dimensions or body measurements. If that is unclear, ask the store before deciding.

Use fit notes as well as size labels

Regular, relaxed and oversized describe different amounts of ease. A relaxed cut may already have extra room, so automatically sizing up can make the shoulders or length larger than intended.

Review the model's size information only as a reference. Your own measurements and the item's chart are more useful for selecting a variant.
